Foggy August mornings with the last days of early bird song. The stage is now being set for the next season. Alternate-leaved dogwood berries join many other ripening fruits. Thrushes will begin to drift as their attention turns to fattening up. In the garden the beautiful white flower crab spider (goldenrod crab spider) waits in the rose for the next insect.
