A snow-bound February! Yesterday, with an adult grandson visiting, we discovered what Montpelierites have known all along: Hubbard Park is doing a stunning job of maintaining miles of beautiful walking and multi-use recreation trails through varied woodlands and terrain. From gently rolling to the altitude-gain of smoothly laid-out switchbacks starting behind the State House, it’s all world-class! So grab a pair of grippers, skis, or snowshoes, and head for Hubbard or North Branch. You won’t regret it!
