Cheryl Ann Bloomfield, 68, of Montpelier, died at the Berlin Health and Rehab on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025. She was born to William and Bertha (Cole) Bloomfield on April 1, 1957 in Springfield, Vermont.
Cheryl grew up in Springfield and graduated with the class of 1975 from Springfield High School.
Cheryl lived in an apartment complex in Montpelier and came to know and care deeply about the other residents there. She was known for loving her dolls like they were her babies and she had a large collection.
She is survived by her siblings Christopher Bloomfield of Springfield, Vermont; Susan Adebayo of Silver Spring, Maryland, and brother-in-law Michael Adebayo; three nephews, Eric, David, and Alan Adebayo, and three grand nieces and nephews.
Cheryl is predeceased by her parents.
A memorial service will be held in Montpelier in late April. A graveside service will be held in Springfield. Service dates and times will be announced at a later date. Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, Vermont, is assisting with the arrangements.
