Go Glo!
To the Editor:
Regarding your Nov. 19 article, “Glo Alexander Brings Music and Meaning to Downtown Montpelier” … What a heartwarming story. So empathetic and well written. It made me feel proud of this talented and gentle person and assured that Another Way is for real and truly doing its job of helping those in need. There is so much fraud in the world these days; this article serves to remind us at this special time of year that there is also a great deal of genuine kindness for which we can be thankful.

Spend Locally on Public Projects
To the Editor:
At the beginning of the pandemic after [Montpelier awarded] the $200,000 tourist sign contract to a Rhode Island company and now having a company out of New Hampshire to light the city bridges … This is not Bennington or Brattleboro, this is central Vermont and we take pride in building our own, so when you take our taxpayer money, please spend it locally. If not in the same ZIP code, please make sure that it’s in our area code … we are the 802 not the 617. Please keep your friends and relatives out of our city to work. I’m not a fan of … “Massachusetts Alive.”
