MONTPELIER — Montpelier’s Feast Farm at 203 Country Club Road has been growing vegetables for the Montpelier Area Senior Activity Center and the local food pantry, among other programs. But on Wednesday, Sept. 23 the farm will be open to the public from 2 to 5 p.m. according to Farm Manager Jeanne Bartlett.
“Come on out to see the gardens and pick some vegetables to take home,” Bartlett said in an email.
She suggested visitors bring a bag or box to take veggies home. Some of the produce available now include beets, carrots, turnips, kale, Brussels sprouts, Swiss chard, and herbs. Park in the parking lot and walk out to the garden area with purple fence posts.
