MONTPELIER — In order to complete essential sewer upgrades, the city of Montpelier has closed Berlin Street between Phelps Street and Wheelock Street for the summer. The city’s goal is to reopen the roadway before the start of the upcoming school year.
Sherwood Drive will serve as the primary detour route, with Wheelock Street available as an alternate route. Local traffic will be permitted beyond the road closure barricades as directed by project personnel.
